EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

This unit or subject is examined by KNEC on those taking the following courses:

Introduction
This module unit is intended to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable him/her maintain good employee relations in an organization.

General Objectives
At the end of the module unit, the trainee should be able to:

  • Recognize the importance of good employee relations in an organization
  • Trace the historical background of employee relations in Kenya
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the collective bargaining process
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the grievances and disputes resolution procedure in an organization
